How to connect

Check your access to Workable, connect the accounts and confirm your screening workflow with our team.

1
Create an API Key in Workable
Connect your Workable account, then confirm the roles and candidate data included in your setup.
  1. Log in to your Workable account: Ensure you have administrative privileges, as generating an API key requires admin access.

  2. Navigate to the API keys section: Click on your organisation's name in the top-right corner, select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu, and then choose 'API keys' from the sidebar.

  3. Create a new API key: Click the 'New API Key' button, provide a descriptive name for the key (e.g., Skill Society Integration), select the appropriate scope r_candidates, r_jobs, w_candidates, w_comments, and enable the necessary permissions Read and Write based on your integration needs.

  4. Save and copy the API key: After creating the key, copy it immediately and store it securely, as you won't be able to view it again later.

  5. Identify your subdomain: Your Workable subdomain is the first part of your Workable URL (e.g., yourcompany in 'yourcompany.workable.com').

For more detailed information, refer to the Workable API documentation.
