Skill Society and Lever: Verify the Screening Handoff

Published
Updated
Skill Society has a dedicated Lever integration page describing interview invitations and screening evidence returned to the hiring workflow. For a buyer, the useful question is which operations work in the proposed account configuration.
A published integration description is a starting point. It is not a promise that every candidate field, stage, reference action or historical record stays synchronised in both directions.
Define the handoff
Keep Lever's role in your hiring process explicit. Decide which candidates enter Skill Society, which role and criteria apply, what evidence comes back and who reviews it. Skill Society can support qualification and AI interview evidence while the team retains hiring decisions.
Focus the demonstration on qualification notes and voice-interview reports. Confirm the contents, destination and return timing of each output, then test any additional reference-check or status-sync requirement separately.
Demonstrate these cases before rollout
| Case | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Candidate invitation | Correct role, intended trigger, candidate identity and invitation state |
| Completed interview | Report content, record association and what the reviewer can open |
| Partial or incomplete interview | Clear status and a human follow-up path |
| Repeated event | Expected behaviour without duplicate invitations or confusing records |
| Failed return | Visible failure, retry responsibility and recovery procedure |
| Access removal | Credentials and users lose the intended access |
Use a permitted test record and inspect both sides of the connection. A successful invitation alone does not prove report return or error handling.
Ask about fields and scope
Confirm the exact fields and documents transferred, supported write-back, stage changes, permissions and retention. Do not assume notes, reports, tags and full transcripts are interchangeable. Reference-check invitations or reports require separate confirmation.
If a needed operation is unavailable, agree a manual handoff or a different workflow before the pilot. Do not represent a future or custom integration as a released capability.
Preserve reviewer ownership
Qualification rules can route answers according to the team's configuration. TalentFit's separate CV comparison does not automatically reject candidates. Recruiters should inspect the source evidence, handle uncertainty and decide what reaches the next stage.
The combined workflow does not remove the need for credential checks, practical assessments or a clear candidate support route.
Confirm cost and data handling
Use current Skill Society pricing and confirm integration access, setup responsibilities and usage. Review data handling, credential ownership and connected copies as part of your vendor assessment.
Bring your Lever workflow to a demo
Book a Skill Society demo with the intended stage, output and test cases. Agree the working handoff and exceptions before using the integration across roles.
